- I am happy to say we survived our first year abroad and here we are starting our second. The first year was tough with Mark traveling so much; we had hope this year will be a little different (I say this as he is currently out of country). Oh what a crazy city --- We thought we had learned the ropes around here, had settled in and knew what to expect from people & situations but this 1st month of year 2 has already proven otherwise...
